The Power of Consistency

As cliche as it sounds, consistency truly is key to to many things such as success or mastery. The best way to become great at an endeavor is to not only practice, but consistently practice. Whether you want to learn a new language, learn how to play an instrument, become a success entrepreneur, or raise your consciousness to a divine level, it will take CONSISTENT work towards your goal. Today, I leave you with a quote that I resonate with on the topic of consistency.

– C.H.

“Consistency is one of the major keys to success. It requires profound dedication and hard work to churn out consistent results. Consistency brings smoothness and clarity to the path leading to the goal, because only when there is consistency there is no contradiction. Consistency is needed in all aspects of life, right from education, paying off the house rent, losing weight to raising a child.

Experts believe that patience, belief and how you value your actions are the factors that determine consistency. This means to perform consistently over a period of time, you need to be tough and be prepared for burnout and failures. Consistency allows for measurement, creates accountability, establishes your reputation and makes you relevant.

Consistency is the most important part of sports. An athlete needs to be very consistent in practice to be consistent on the field. There was a famous saying which many cricket fans believe in, ‘A player who hits a six occasionally is just another player, a player who consistently hits sixes is a cricketer’. The urge to perform consistently in any sport, makes a sportsman different from others of his kind. Consistency is also the best tool for persuasion as only when one is consistent with prior acts and statements, will the persuasion be successful.”
